There are several levels of warranty cover available which are as follows: - Retail vehicles under 3 years old - These carry the balance of the manufacturers warranty (subject to mileage and servicing)
- Retail vehicles 3 - 7 years old - 12 month/20000 miles (whichever is sooner) comprehensive Autoguard Mechanical Breakdown Insurance warranty. We are able to offer extended warranties, administered by CPL Services, for an extra 24 months at extra cost. Please ask for a quotation.
- Inter trade / trade sales - sold as seen with no warranty implied or given
Guaranteed Asset Protection Insurance Due to our relationship with CPL Services, we are able to offer 'Stand-Alone' GAP policies to our customers. Basically, there are 2 different types of GAP Insurance: - Finance GAP Insurance. This product is suitable when finance is taken out on your vehicle. If you were unlucky enough to be involved in an accident during the first 5 years of ownership, and your insurer deems your vehicle is beyond economical repair, this product pays the shortfall between the insured value of your vehicle and the amount required to settle your finance agreement (up to the claims limit stated in your ploicy schedule) excluding any amount financed above the original purchase price of your vehicle.)
- Return to Invoice Gap Insurance. If you are involved in an accident in the first 3 years of ownership, and your insurer deems your vehicle is beyond economical repair, this product pays the difference between the insured value of your vehicle and the total retail price you originally paid for the vehicle (subject to the claims limit stated in your policy schedule).
